Cycling is now becoming a good form of exercise to most Filipinos – especially those training to participate in a triathlon or in a duathlon. And with this, a surge of cycling events were noted happening within the Philippines – Giro de Pilipinas included.

3Q Sports Event Management in partnership with 97.9 Home Radio, Aliw Broadcasting Corporation and the Lighthouse Marina Resort and Giro de Pilipinas’ aim to make Filipinos a great contender in the international cycling circuit. Testing the Filipino cyclists’ energy, endurance and stamina with their one of a kind cycling courses.

Held last October 9-11, 2015 at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, registrants – both local and international were given multiple staged cycling challenges to conquer. With a huge show of support from over 550 individuals, 50 executive cycling teams nationwide and almost hundreds of participants all over the world including riders from from our neighboring countries: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Scotland, USA, China, New Zealand, Kenya, Germany, Korea, Dubai, Canada and Japan.

Giro De Pilipinas gave a one of a kind experience to all the participants with new courses that not only tested them but also showcased scenic routes of Subic, Zambales and Bataan.

To help promote Cycling as a tool towards healthy living and to encourage everyone to go out, form a team, and promote a healthier lifestyle. Giro De Pilipinas has paved way in making this possible.
